The author made this commercials to show people that what could happen might happen. The author want to you laugh and want you to understand that this could happen to you when you drive in area like. The commercial is promoted to the people who own cars and drives cars. This commercial implies Reliability and dependability. The commercial says "Nobody protects you like Allstate" and the guy say "get Allstate you could save a few bucks and be better protected from mayhem like me" The commercial is targeted to Adults. I know this because what person below the age of 18 is going to own a car.

The context of the commercial is a deer standing in the road and someone hitting and if you don't have the right insurance it could cost you thousands. The audience of the Ad should think the its funny. The Ad Shows someone getting hit by a car and casually talking to the camera like nothing happened. 

This commercial has a person in the forest right next to a road during night time. You see this guy in the forest acting like a deer eating a leaf from a tree. He act like he is curious when see the car. Walks into the road and gets hit by the car. Then he talk to the camera and it cuts to someone with a really good voice talking about what Allstate offers. It is made this way to be short and to get the point.

The Ad shows something that could happen. The Ad want people to be safe and get sales. The Ad was really good for the message they want to send.
